Terms and Conditions governing use of the website, registration and participation in the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup and Professional Cleaning Expo.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the organiser of the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup, hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”, and persons who use the official website bulgarianwindowcleaningcup.com, register to participate in the competition or take part in other activities related to the event.

By using the website and/or submitting a registration, the user confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions and accept them.

ORGANISER

The Organiser of the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup is:

The Organiser may engage partners, subcontractors, judges, technical personnel and other specialists in the preparation and delivery of the event.

SCOPE OF THE EVENT

The Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup is a professional event which may include a window cleaning competition, the Professional Cleaning Expo, demonstrations of professional machinery and equipment, presentations, partner activities and other related activities.

The 2027 public event will take place on 9 May 2027 at Kolodrum Hall, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The competition is scheduled to begin at 13:00. Exhibitor setup is scheduled for 8 May 2027. Programme updates are published on the official website.

COMPETITION REGISTRATION

Participation in the competition requires prior registration using the form designated by the Organiser.

Participants must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. By submitting a registration, the participant confirms that they have read and accept the official Rules of the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup.

The Organiser may refuse or cancel a registration in the event of false information, breach of the Rules, inappropriate conduct or other objective grounds related to the safe and proper running of the event.

RULES

The rules governing the competition, its individual rounds, equipment, judging, penalty seconds, rankings and disqualifications are governed by separate official Rules.

In the event of a conflict between promotional or informational material and the official Rules, the text of the official Rules shall prevail.

FEES AND PAYMENTS

An entry fee is payable only by registered competitors taking part in the competition for the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup grand prize.

The competition entry fee is €50, including 20% VAT. Payment instructions and deadlines are provided during registration or by the Organiser.

Submitting the registration form constitutes an application to participate. A competitor’s registration is considered finally confirmed once the entry fee has been paid.

Participants wishing to receive an invoice must provide the necessary invoicing details during registration.

Participation as an exhibitor or sponsor is subject to the applicable published package prices and the relevant offer or agreement. Exhibition space and sponsorship fees include VAT where stated in the official offer. For exhibitors, a 30% deposit is due within 7 days of confirmation, with the remaining 70% due by 31 March 2027; for confirmations after that date, the full amount is due under the applicable offer.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

These cancellation and refund conditions apply to all registered exhibitors, sponsors and competitors participating in Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup & EXPO 2027.

1. Cancellation received on or before 9 February 2027. If the Organiser receives written notice of withdrawal no later than 9 February 2027, the exhibitor, sponsor or competitor will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.

2. Cancellation received from 10 February to 9 April 2027, inclusive. The Organiser retains 15% of the amount actually paid to cover administrative, organisational and other costs associated with preparing the event. The remaining 85% will be refunded to the exhibitor, sponsor or competitor.

3. Cancellation from 10 April 2027 or failure to attend. In the event of withdrawal by an exhibitor, sponsor or competitor from 10 April 2027 onwards, or failure to attend without duly cancelling participation, the Organiser is entitled to retain 100% of the payments received.

This condition reflects financial, contractual and organisational commitments undertaken in advance, including venue and exhibition space, technical services, advertising, logistics, administration and event preparation.

The retention of payments is governed by these Terms and Conditions and the applicable laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

4. Cancellation procedure. Withdrawal must be submitted in writing to clean2016varna@gmail.com. The effective cancellation date is the date on which the Organiser receives the written notice.

5. Cancellation of the event by the Organiser. If the Organiser permanently cancels the event, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law and agreed terms, taking into account the circumstances of cancellation.

CHANGES TO DATE, VENUE AND PROGRAMME

Where necessary, the Organiser may change the programme, times, individual activities, competition configuration, demonstrators or other elements of the event.

Where there are reasonable grounds, the Organiser may change the date or venue. Material changes will be published on the official website and/or sent to registered participants.

SAFETY

Each participant must comply with the instructions of the Organiser, judges, technical personnel and staff at the event venue.

Actions that may create a risk to participants, visitors, staff, equipment or property are prohibited.

The Organiser may terminate the participation of any person who creates a safety risk or breaches the established rules.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participants are responsible for their own actions and must use the equipment provided in accordance with its intended purpose and the instructions given.

Where a participant culpably causes damage to property, equipment or third parties, the participant may be held liable in accordance with applicable law.

ORGANISER LIABILITY

The Organiser takes reasonable care to ensure the proper and safe running of the event.

The Organiser is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended, or for damage resulting from failure to follow instructions, the Rules or safety requirements.

These Terms do not limit any rights or liability which cannot lawfully be limited under applicable Bulgarian law.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING

Photography and video recording may take place during the event.

Materials from the event may be used for coverage, archiving and promotion of the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup through the official website, social media, media outlets and promotional materials in compliance with applicable law.

Where a particular use requires a separate legal basis or consent, the Organiser will take the necessary steps.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The name Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup, its visual identity, graphic materials, original texts, photographs, videos and other content are protected under applicable law.

Their use for commercial purposes without the permission of the relevant rights holder is not permitted.

PARTNERS AND EXHIBITORS

Participation as a partner, sponsor or exhibitor may be subject to separate terms, an offer or an agreement.

The Organiser may set requirements regarding exhibition space, installation, equipment, access, safety, promotional materials and commercial activity within the event.

CONDUCT DURING THE EVENT

Aggressive, discriminatory, abusive or other conduct that disrupts the proper running of the event is prohibited.

The Organiser may remove any person who fails to comply with the established rules or creates a danger or serious disturbance to others.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Organiser shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fires, accidents, actions of public authorities, restrictions on holding events, serious technical problems and other force majeure events.

In such circumstances, the Organiser may change, postpone or cancel the event.

PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy published on the website.

Data provided during registration may be used for organising and running the event, communicating with participants and fulfilling obligations related to registration.

The Organiser will review enquiries received within a reasonable period.

GOVERNING LAW

All matters not expressly covered shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations and, where this is not possible, in accordance with the procedure provided for under applicable law.

FINAL PROVISIONS

The Organiser may update these Terms and Conditions. The current version will be published on bulgarianwindowcleaningcup.com and will take effect from the date stated in it.

By submitting a registration, the participant confirms that they have read the Terms and Conditions and the official Rules of the Bulgarian Window Cleaning Cup and accept the conditions of participation.
